Our policies

Two documents govern your use of Amara Magazine:

Publisher

Amara Magazine is an independent publication documenting the Igbo wedding. For any legal, press, or business enquiry, please use our contact form — we route messages to the right desk.

Intellectual property

The Amara name, logo, typography, page designs, and original editorial content are protected by copyright and trademark law. Imagery and stories submitted by couples and vendors remain the property of their owners and are published under licence. Please do not reproduce or redistribute any material from Amara without written permission.

Copyright & takedown

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe material on Amara infringes your rights, contact us with the details and we will review it promptly. Use our contact form and note “Copyright” in your message.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your session, and protect forms against abuse — these are required for the site to work. We do not use cookies to sell your data. Where we use any non-essential analytics, it is limited to understanding and improving the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in and checkout from working.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe under its own terms and security standards. Amara does not store full card details.
