Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Amara Magazine. By using the site, submitting content, subscribing, or advertising, you agree to them.

Last updated: June 2026

Using the site

You agree to use Amara lawfully and not to disrupt the service, attempt unauthorised access, or misuse forms and submissions. We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of the service.

Submissions

When you submit a wedding, vendor profile, or advertisement, you confirm that you have the right to share the material — including all imagery — and the consent of the people featured. You grant Amara a licence to edit, format, and publish accepted submissions across our print and digital editions and related promotion. Editorial acceptance is at our discretion; submission does not guarantee publication.

Subscriptions & access

Some issues are free to read and others are reserved for subscribers. Subscriptions grant a personal, non-transferable right to access gated content for the term you purchase. Access may end if a payment is reversed or a subscription lapses.

Payments & refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Vendor and advertising placements are subject to the deadlines and specifications communicated at the time of purchase. If a placement cannot be fulfilled, we will work with you on a resolution. Chargebacks made without first contacting us may result in removal of the related content.

Advertising

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their materials and for holding the rights to any imagery or video supplied. We may decline or remove advertising that is unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with the character of the magazine.

Intellectual property

The Amara name, logo, design, and original editorial content are owned by Amara or its contributors and are protected by law. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission. Rights in submitted material remain with their owners, subject to the publishing licence above.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amara is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
